In my still life, I used objects to represent the past insecurities, growth, and passion of one of my friends. The mirror represents past insecurities about physical appearance, and the paint was used to show mental chaos. Also, the sketchbook symbolizes making mistakes, and how success can come from a messy creative process. Growth was shown through the use of film to represent physical and mental development. Finally, I used my friend’s personal camera in order to represent her passion for photography.
